2. By Train

Himachal Pradesh has a few narrow-gauge railways and broad-gauge connections to major cities. While the rail network may not cover all parts of the state, it offers a scenic and comfortable travel experience.

Kalka-Shimla Railway: A UNESCO World Heritage site, the Kalka to Shimla toy train is a unique experience, offering scenic views as it climbs through the mountains. It connects Kalka (near Chandigarh) to Shimla.
