  • Alliance Air operates flights to Agatti from Kochi (Kerala). Flights are typically available several days a week, and you can get in touch with us to book the same.
  • Kochi to Agatti: The flight from Kochi (Cochin International Airport) to Agatti Island Airport takes about 1 hour. You need to plan your flights to Kochi first if you’re coming from another part of India.

• Booking Flights:
  • You need to book flights to Agatti in advance, as they are limited and often in high demand, especially during peak tourist season (from November to May). You can book these flights through Air India directly or through travel agents.
  • Keep in mind that Agatti Island's airport is relatively small, and flight schedules can change depending on weather conditions and demand.

• Flights from Major Cities:
  • To reach Agatti, IndiGo is operating direct flight from Bangalore. People coming from other cities can consider taking connecting flight to Agatti via Bangalore

Yes, you need an entry permit to visit Lakshadweep. You can apply for the permit online at epermit.utl.gov.in.  

Permits:

• Tourists are required to obtain a permit to visit Lakshadweep, as it is a protected region. These permits are issued by the Lakshadweep Administration and must be arranged before your travel.

• The islands of Lakshadweep are under a special law, and tourists are not allowed to visit all islands. Only certain islands like Agatti, Kavaratti, Bangaram, and Minicoy are open to tourists.
